Dr Hassan Maghaireh is one of the UK’s foremost implantology educators. He is an Associate Professor and Clinical Director of the Dental implantology MSc program at The college of Medicine & Dentistry – Ulster University in Birmingham. He is also the chairman of the scientific committee at The British Academy of Implant & restorative Dentistry (BAIRD) where Dr Maghaireh and his team train fellow dentists who want to learn cosmetic implant dentistry and up skill in bone and gum grafting. Managing atrophic ridges in implant dentistry for anterior and posterior cases can be very challenging and is usually associated with high risk of complications. This clinical lecture will present an overview of the most up to date techniques Dr Hassan Maghaireh and his team have adopted to successfully augment vertical and horizontal bony defects in anterior and posterior implant cases such as CAD CAM allograft bone blocks.
