Low- Level Laser Therapy LLLT and Topical Medications
in Managing Oral ulcers
- Oral ulcerations is a common painful mucosal disorder. It may be caused by physical or chemical trauma, viral, fungal or bacterial infections, allergy, malignancy or a manifestation of systemic diseases.
- Management and treatment depend on the accurate diagnosis, causes and pathogenesis which may be challenging and requires careful clinical examination and history taking.
- Treatments may be systemic or topical, Laser is also suggested as an effective easy , fast and pain-free procedure.
- My presentation will include clinical cases of various types of oral ulcers, for patients attending Oral Medicine department in Faculty of Dentistry Damascus University.
